Includes complete assessment and interview process with new client/patients. Integrative Nutritional Ecology follows a functional approach to human nutrition and nutritional therapy. This course will provide a comprehensive approach identifying individual biochemical requirements. This includes the following areas that will be covered in great depth. ** Client/Patient Assessment - By far one of the most in depth assessment process available looking at all underlying issues to identify the underlying cause. ** Nutrition Foundations – We will go deep in to what most people think are the basics of nutrition and break them down. Many beliefs will be challenged and evidence provided to prove the points. ** The Elimination Phase Diet - This is the initial diet we use to "reset" the clients/patients state of health. All underlying issues are addressed including inflammation, insulin management, oxidative stress, etc. ** Metabolic Ecology Profile – This is NOT “The Metabolic Typing Diet” from the book. This is based on the original metabolic typing developed by Dr. William Kelley along with a lot of modern advancements from modern science and in the trenches experience. ** Initial Clinical Laboratory Testing - We will cover many of the initial clinical test that we use and break them down to when and how they should be used. After completing the course you will have access to all the clinical tests used and “physician only” specialized range of supplements that will allow you to provide your clients with the appropriate protocols. This can be a add on service that personal trainers can add on to their clients or could be an expansion of your business providing nutrition programming as a personal trainer, nutritionists, dietitian, doctor or other medical professional. Remember prevention is better than a cure. You will also be given ongoing support through a members only forum, email and phone to assist you in providing the most complete scientific based nutritional program for your clients.
